    Come Join Family Nature Culture Club

    Fall Theme: Design and Build an Outdoor Classroom!
    Our school has $5000 in funding from the National Science Foundation “Learning in Places” research grant to support the development/enhancement of an outdoor classroom at our school. A group of families have started the design process this summer and we want to continue designing so that we can build the classroom this fall! Are you interested in joining a design team to develop an outdoor classroom at Viewlands? All families are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Translation can be provided at meetings upon request.

    • Sept 19, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Session #1: Introduction
    • October 5, 10 a.m. - noon Session #2: Design Details
    • Week of Oct 7 Sharing design ideas
    • End of October Session #3: Finalize outdoor classroom design
    • Mid November Install outdoor classroom features!
